Mrs. Polly Sue (Hunter) Crane

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Polly Sue Hunter Crane, age 77 of Maysville, Georgia who entered into rest Wednesday, January 20, 2021.  Mrs. Crane was born in Franklin County, Georgia a daughter of the late Moody and Arletta Brock Hunter, was of the Baptist Faith and was a Homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crane is preceded by a sister, Faye Bonner and her late husband of sixty-one years, Howard William Crane.

Survivors include three children, Tim Crane and his wife Kaye of Commerce, Danny Crane and his wife Rebecca Crane of Maysville, and Susan Mealor of Maysville.  Four sisters, Shirley Whitlock of Commerce, Patsy Minish of Commerce, Becky Chestnut of Commerce, and Bonnie Parr of Maysville.  Three brothers, David Hunter of Homer, Eddie Hunter of Toccoa and Major Hunter of Homer.  Grandchildren, Abby Crane, Katie Lucia, Brandon Crane, Crystal Mealor, Matt Mealor, and Kenny Langston.  Great grandchildren, Jackson Dyer, Jeremiah Dyer, Mark Lucia and Rick Lucia also survive.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 24, 2021 from Evans Memory Gardens, 1350 Winder Highway, Jefferson, Georgia with Reverend Larry Dyer and Reverend Chuck Cook officiating with burial to follow in the cemetery.  The family will receive friends 1:00 – 5:00 P.M. Saturday, January  23, 2021 at the funeral home. Those attending should practice safe social distancing and wear a protective mask due to the COVID 19 Pandemic.
