Mrs. Sadie Mae Cruce

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Sadie Mae Cruce, age 80, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Wednesday April 19, 2023. Mrs. Cruce was born in Jackson County, Georgia the daughter of the late Clyde Motts and the late Avery Roberts Motts. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Eugene Cruce and nine siblings. 

Mrs. Cruce was a retired LPN working for BJC Nursing Home and a member of Diamond Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Wesley Cruce (Andrea) of Hoschton, GA and Jeffery Cruce of Commerce, GA. Two grandchildren, Todd Cruce (Sarah) of Maysville, GA, and Cierra Armour (Christy) of Commerce, GA. Sister, Sarah Fields of Commerce, GA. Two brothers, Dennis Roberts of Commerce, GA and Charles Roberts of Watkinsville, GA. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday April 21, 2023, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bo Whisnant officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Memorial Gardens, Commerce, GA. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
