Mrs. Sara Nell (Dalton) Davidson

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Sara Nell Davidson, age 85, of Loganville, Georgia who entered rest Sunday October 1, 2023. Mrs. Davidson was born in Monroe, Georgia the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie Mae Dalton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Mrs. Davidson was a homemaker, an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Grayson, Georgia. Mrs. Davidson loved to fish wherever or whenever she could be on water, loved to play cards with family and friends (winning most of the time), loved to watch sports, mainly the Braves (or any baseball games) and tennis. But most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Doug Davidson of Loganville, GA. Son, Ricky Davidson (Carolyn) of West Point, GA. Two daughters, Jody Thomann (Michael) of Loganville, GA and Ellie Might (Don) of Jacksonville, FL. Five grandchildren, Stacy Betsill (Troy) of Concord, GA, David Garner (Carrie) of Lawrenceville, GA, Cortney Menefee (Joel) of Loganville, GA, Marie Mickel of Jacksonville, FL and Tara Thrift of Jacksonville, FL. Eight great-grandchildren, Tyler, Joshua, Madeline, Morgan, Finley, Alina, Anthony, and Ashton. Sister, Brenda Fay of Cumming, GA. Brother, Terry Dalton (Carol) of Riverdale, GA. And many beloved nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

In accordance with Mrs. Davidson wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday November 11, 2023 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 540 Hillside Drive, Grayson, GA 30017.
