Mrs. Sarah (Frady) Clark

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Sarah Frady Clark, age 93 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Thursday, September 7, 2023.  Mrs. Clark was born in Jefferson, Georgia a daughter of the late Beecher and Mandy Lee Frady.  Mrs. Clark and her late husband Odell were the owners and operators of Clark Upholstery Shop for sixty two years.  Mrs. Clark was a member of New Beginnings Penecostal Outreach.  In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Clark is preceded by two sisters, Lillie Mae Lee and Betty Brooks,  brother, Jerry Frady, and a grandson, Jonathan Skelton.

Survivors include two daughters, Jo Ann Clark Crumley (Jimmy)  of Athens, and Margaret Clark Jolley (Bobby) of Danielsville.  Son, James Odell Clark, Jr. of Covington.  Four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday, September 10, 2023 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Norris and Reverend Leon Thompson officiating with burial to follow in Woodbine Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home.
