Mrs. Sheila Gayle (Venable) Satterfield

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Sheila Venable Satterfield, age 78 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest, Saturday, November 16, 2024.  Mrs. Satterfield was born in Atlanta, Georgia a daughter of the late Jesse Alva Venable and the late Louise Wilkes Venable.  Mrs. Satterfield was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Satterfield is preceded by her son, James Edward Buriles and her husband, Bobby Andrew Satterfield.

Sheila was known for her faith, strong will and love of her flowers, birds and her cats.

Survivors include her sister, Sonya Wilkes Venable Tucker of Watkinsville.  Nephew, Robert Tucker of Watkinsville.  

Thanks for all the kindness from cousins, Collis and Karen Hale, Carolyn Wilkes Evans and Barbara and Ted Patton.  Special thanks to Roy Stringer a special family friend for all kindness shown.

A private graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
