Mrs. Shirley Diane Stiwinter

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Shirley Diane Stiwinter, age 65, of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025. Mrs. Stiwinter was born in Macon, North Carolina, a daughter to the late Lloyd and Mattie Louise Fore Stiwinter. Mrs. Stiwinter was a homemaker and a member of the Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Franklin, North Carolina. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stiwinter was preceded in death by her sisters, Gloria Webb, Judy Stiwinter and her brothers, Grady Stiwinter, Ronnie Stiwinter and Doyle Stiwinter.

Survivors include her daughter, Heather Sharpton and her husband Chris of Jefferson; son, Chris Barnes of Jefferson; brothers, Teddy Stiwinter of Banks County, GA and Willard Stiwinter of Franklin, NC; sister, Hattie Bosworth and her husband Jack of Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Angel (Charlie) Parr, Lane Sharpton, Maddie Sharpton; great grandchildren, Lilly Parr and Easton Parr; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with. Rev. Chris Hulsey officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00PM at Evans Funeral Home, prior to the service.
