Ms. Dorothy Jane (Parr) Casey

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Ms. Dorothy Jane Casey, age 68, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Ms. Casey was born in Jackson County, Georgia the daughter of the late J.D. Parr and the late Inez Bennett Parr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mitchell Casey, two sisters, Mary Martin, Paulette Lou Allen and three brothers, Timothy K. Parr, Leroy Parr and Johnny Parr.

Survivors include son, Phillip A. Casey of Jefferson, GA. Grandson, Sawyer Casey of Athens, GA. Two brothers, David Parr (Carol) of Danielsville, GA and Lewis Parr of Commerce, GA. Two sisters, Bonnie Whisnant of Bunnell, FL and Barbara Sims (James) of Water Valley, MS. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

In accordance with Ms. Casey wishes, she will be cremated and no services are to be held.
