Ms. Gracie Bell (Sims) McGuire

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Ms. Gracie Bell Sims McGuire, age 79 of Statham, Georgia who entered rest Saturday, September 20, 2025.  Ms. McGuire was born in Statham, Georgia a daughter of the late Robert and Katie Mae Kilgore Sims.  Ms. McGuire was a Supervisor in the Healthcare Industry and was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church of Statham.  In addition to her parents, Ms. McGuire is preceded by four brothers and sisters.  

Survivors include a daughter, Wendy Koonce (Leonard) of Statham, son, Wylie McGuire of Statham.  Sisters, Evelyn Harrison of Dayton, Ohio and Lavonia Brown of Statham.  Brother, Billy Sims of Statham.  Two grandchildren, Katie Koonce and Jayceona Gracie McGuire also survive.

In accordance with the wishes of Ms. McGuire, her remains will be cremated and no service is to be held.
