Ms. Heather Lee (Duncan) Chick

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Ms. Heather Lee Duncan Chick, age 49, of Winder, Georgia, who passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024. Ms. Chick was born in Norcross, Georgia, a daughter to the late Phillip Duncan and the late Rhonda McGinnis Duncan Walker. Ms. Chick was a Home Healthcare Nurse and operated and online arts and crafts store. She was an active member of the Mountain Creek Baptist Church in Pendergrass. In addition to her parents, Ms. Chick was preceded in death by her son, Tyler Stephen Chick.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel Sherer of Winder; daughter, Brittany Chick and her boyfriend Collin Cooper of Winder; grandson, Maxwell Chick of Winder; two half-brothers, Jeb Walker and Joshua “Gator” Walker both of Mineral Bluff, Georgia, also survives. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Strickland officiating. 

The visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Evans Funeral Home, prior to the service.
