Ms. Wanda Faye (Greene) Straub

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Ms. Wanda Faye Greene Straub, age 90, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Friday January 17, 2025.

Ms. Straub was born in Daisy, Tennessee the daughter of the late Harold F. Greene and the late Ethel Edmondson Haley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Henri Scotto di Perta and a brother, Buddy Green.

Ms. Straub worked twenty-two years in the credit department with Automatic Vendors of America, Atlanta, GA and worked as a admission clerk with Stringfellow Hospital, Anniston, Alabama. Ms. Straub was a veteran in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include daughter, Anna Davis (Kenneth) of Maysville, GA. Three granddaughters, Samantha Rupp of Maysville, GA, Laure Sweet of Athens, GA and Meghan Sweet Sanchez (Mario) of Gillsville, GA. Three great grandchildren, Rhys Jensen, Lillianna Sweet and Niko Sanchez. Best Friend, Kitty Payne of Maysville, GA. Her companion Cat, Lizzie.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Evans Memory Gardens with Mr. Sean Green officiating. Military services will be presented by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
