Pastor Raul Rivera

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Pastor Raul Rivera III, age, 43 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Friday, October 27, 2023.  Pastor Raul was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a son to Raul Rivera Sr. and Arminia Rosado Soto.  Pastor Raul is also preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Rivera, he was a minister for many year preaching the word in many states, he is a member of Comunidad de fe Church, he also worked at Jackson County as a Code Enforcement Officer. When he wasn’t working or preaching he loved watching his daughters on the field playing softball and soccer.

Pastor Raul is survived by two daughters, Azaeli Nicole Rivera and Ashley Michelle Rivera both of Jefferson, one sister, Priscilla Rivera of Philadelphia, two brothers, Raul Rivera, Illian Rivera both of Philadelphia, one step-brother, Marty Soto of Colorado. 

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 30, 2023, from the Jefferson Church with Pastor Harry Joel Torres and Pastor Jonathon Iguina officiating with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens, Jefferson, Georgia.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Evans Funeral Home.
