Pastor Robert Lee Reynolds, Jr.

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Pastor Robert Lee Reynolds, Jr. age 84 of Atlanta, Georgia.  Pastor Reynolds was born in Anderson, South Carolina a son of the late Robert Lee Reynolds, Sr. and the late Frances Rebecca Sanders Reynolds.  Pastor Reynolds held a Masters Degree in Divinity and also a Bachelors Degree from Piedmont College and had served as a Pastor for fifty years.  After retirement, Pastor Reynolds assisted the Chaplain in Bible Studies at Wesley Woods.  In addition to his parents, Pastor Reynolds is preceded by his wife of fifty-three years, Judith Hassel Reynolds and a grandchild, Chelsea Dunn.

Survivors include three sons, Scott Reynolds (Elsie) of McDonough, Mark Reynolds (Peggy) of Ringgold, Chris Reynolds (Denise) of Jackson.  Daughter, Michelle Dunn (Sidney) of Covington.  Fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Laskey officiating with burial to follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens, 6448 Big A Road, Toccoa, Georgia.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Carson Reynolds, Robert Reynolds, Brandon Young, Scott Reynolds, Mark Reynolds, and Chris Reynolds.  The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at Evans Funeral Home.
