Tara Kay (Hume) Watson

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Tara Kay Hume Watson, age, 42 of Nicholson, Georgia who entered rest Sunday, August 24, 

2025.   Mrs. Watson was born October 19, 1982 in Deland, Florida a daughter of Wanda Reynante Hume and the late Michael Hume.  Mrs. Watson was a loyal employee of Publix Foods for 17 years and was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her father, Michael Hume, Mrs. Watson is also preceded in death by uncles, Carl and Emil Reynante.

 Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Joseph Brown, Nicholson, Georgia; four sons, Shaun Hume ( Liz), Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Robert Watson, Jacob Watson, and Wyatt Ivey all of Nicholson, Georgia, step son, Joseph Brown, Flowery Branch, Georgia; two daughters, Kayla Watson and Reagan Greene, Nicholson, Georgia; brother, Robert Bennett; sister, Tammy Bennett, Commerce, Georgia.

Memorial  services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 29, 2025, from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Randall Hulsey officiating. 

 The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 29, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home.
