Walter Edward Marchand

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Walter Edward Marchand, age 75, of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Mr. Marchand was born in Chicago, Illinois, a son to the late Lewis J. and Norma Claire Myers Marchand, Sr. Mr. Marchand was a manager for Hitachi and specialized in computer engineering.

Survivors include his wife, Belinda Furrow Marchand of Jefferson, Georgia, and several other family members.

In accordance with Mr. Marchand’s wishes, his remains were cremated and no services are planned at this time.
