May the true God comfort you and your family with His promise to raise the dead at John 5:28,29 and to undo all the pain and sorrow that death causes at Revelation 21:3-5.

It is hard to put into words the loss of a loved one. One place I turn to for encouragement in times of distress is the Bible, specifically Isaiah 25:8,9. May that bring you comfort. I am so sorry for your loss

There was never a time that I saw Demorest that he didn't speak to me, whether in church or out in public somewhere. He was such a sweet, loving person and he will be dearly missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May Gods love comfort you during this time. God bless you all!!!

Demorest was met by his family on the other side. We know where he and they are and we know how to get there.

I am so sorry to hear about Demorest's passing. I knew him for many years, through working at Gainesville Marina for a time and also because he and my dad Warren Nichols were close friends and enjoyed talking about Jesus together. I remember one time my dad held a cottage prayer meeting at his house, and Demorest came to preach the sermon that evening. I know, though, that he and my dad are rejoicing together in Heaven. You haven't lost him. He has just gone ahead to show the way and to lead you to the Promised Land. Take comfort in the fact that he is not lost; you know exactly where he is. I am praying for all of Demorest's family and friends. God will give you the strength, grace, and comfort you need to get through this difficult time.
